Weather:
Mid March in Hanoi can range from cool and damp to hot and sunny. Please check the forecast before your departure and prepare accordingly.

Ground Transportation from NoiBai International Airport: Easy access to taxi transportation is found outside the arrival level of the airport. Depending on time of day and traffic, expect a 30+ minute trip from the airport to Tay Ho at a cost of approximately 350,000 VND.

Exchange Rate: USD 1 = VND 21,000 (approximate rate)

  • Please organize your visa through your travel agent or the Vietnamese Embassy in your country well in advance. Most tourist visas are valid for single entry only. Participants wishing to re-enter Vietnam must apply for a multiple entry visa.

Transport from Hotel to School
The hotels around Tay Ho are a short taxi ride (about 15 minutes and approximately 60,000+ VND). Most taxis in Hanoi use the meter.
